You can now post even longer voice messages on WhatsApp Status beginning this week.
The Meta-owned chat app is increasing the time limit on the voice message you can share on its ephemeral Status feature so there’ll be no need to post multiple voice messages to pass your message across the platform. This new feature is rolling out in the latest version of WhatsApp.

The company recently began allowing users to post longer videos on WhatsApp Status by doubling the time limit from 30 seconds to 1 minute. They are now increasing the time limit on voice messages to 1 minute from 30 seconds.

You can now record 60-second-long voice messages to share on WhatsApp. This also means other users must update their app to the latest version to listen to 1-minute voice messages.
