How to buy Safaricom bundles for another number

Staying connected today is more important than ever. Whether it’s for work, keeping in touch with loved ones, or simply staying informed about maandamano, having access to mobile data has become a necessity. Recognizing this need, Safaricom now offers a convenient feature that allows users to purchase data bundles for other Safaricom numbers. This thoughtful service enables you to help friends and family stay connected, even when they’re running low on data.

Why Buy Data Bundles for Others?

There are numerous scenarios where you might want to buy data for someone else:

  • Helping a friend in need
  • Surprising a family member with extra data
  • Ensuring your employees or team members have sufficient internet access
  • Gifting data as a virtual present for special occasions

Whatever your reason, Safaricom has made the process simple and accessible through various methods.

Using *100# USSD Code

This method provides additional options, including the ability to buy bundles with expiry:

  1. Dial *100# and press call
