Infinix Hot 50 Pro+

After much anticipation, Infinix has finally added to its collection in the Kenyan market after launching the Infinix Hot 50 Pro+, a budget smartphone that boasts the slimmest design in the market at 6.88mm. The Hot 50 Pro+ is also a new member of the Hot 50 series that was launched a few weeks ago in Kenya.

The biggest selling point that Infinix has made sure to use for this smartphone is the slim profile that also promises ultra-durability making sure you get little to no damage on your phone upon fall impact. Infinix calls the whole design ‘TiTanWing Architecture’, an innovation that blends those two aforementioned aspects; sleek aesthetics and durability.

“With the HOT 50 Pro+, we’ve combined the world’s slimmest 3D-curved design with Titan Armor Protection, creating a device that merges style with rugged durability,” said Tony Zhao, General Manager of Infinix.

“It’s designed to meet the needs of adventurous users who demand both aesthetics and performance in their smartphones. In line with the ‘WOOOW, NEW HOT’ slogan, Infinix continues to deliver cutting-edge innovation and excitement to users worldwide, offering devices that inspire creativity and exploration.”

The smartphone also features IP54 certification for splash and dust resistance with wet and greasy touch precision for control while in challenging conditions. The chassis has also been designed to cater for thermals featuring a six-layer composite graphite structure that helps reduce the device’s temperature by up to 2.7° during intensive use.

Sitting on top of the frame is a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with Corning Gorilla glass and a 16x ultra-resolution touch. This is powered by a Helio G100 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB of UFS internal storage.

The device also features a rear triple-camera module packing a 50MP rear camera and a 2MP macro lens.

Some may ask about the battery size considering how slim the device is. Well, Infinix seems to have adopted Silicon-Carbide battery cells, a new battery technology that allows for higher mAh capacities while accommodating slimmer designs. The battery pack stands at 5000mAh with 33W wired charging support.

The Infinix Hot 50 Pro+ is currently available at KES 25,999 in three colour options; Titanium Grey, Sleek Black, and Dreamy Purple.
