At the PUBG MOBILE SUPERSTARS UNITED event in Bangkok, an international squad called Team Infinix pulled off an upset victory, with Uzbekistani player Yakudza delivering a match-deciding performance.
The team was an unusual mix comprising Saudi captain Salim Al Badi, Pakistan’s Sikandar Nawaz, Morocco’s MODOX, and Yakudza from Uzbekistan.
What made this achievement notable is that Sikandar and MODOX were regular players with no professional experience before this competition.
The defining moment came when Yakudza and a teammate got ambushed by three enemies while driving. His teammate died immediately, leaving Yakudza alone in a 1v3 situation.
Instead of retreating, he fought back using guerrilla tactics and precise positioning. He eliminated all three opponents and secured the win for his team.
Yakudza credited the Infinix GT 30 Pro for handling the pressure. The phone uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chip and features a cooling system that combines an internal 3D Vapour Cloud Chamber with an external magnetic fan attachment called the MagCharge Cooler.

When you attach the magnetic fan, it automatically activates Draco Mode for enhanced cooling, even during wireless charging.
The cooling fan matters because the phone maintains 120 frames per second without dropping during extended gameplay. It has 512GB storage and 12GB RAM that can expand to 24GB. This performance earned it official endorsement for PUBG MOBILE global tournaments.

After the match, Captain Salim, who’s both a competitive player and tech reviewer, said he wants to see Infinix push hardware further with better processors, more RAM, and deeper AI integration in future models.
The endorsement that carries the most weight comes from Bune Top, nicknamed “The Mighty Top.” He’s the only player in PUBG MOBILE history to win two FMVP awards at Global Championships.
He’s been using the GT series at the highest level of competition and said he’d recommend the GT 30 Pro to other mobile gaming players.
Infinix is working with MediaTek on chipset optimization and advancing their cooling technology to maintain frame stability during long sessions while improving battery life.
The GT 30 Pro represents their push into the mobile esports hardware market, targeting players who need reliable performance without thermal throttling during competitive play.
