Xiaomi spun the Redmi moniker as the sub-brand in a market that has seen similar approaches in selling phones: Huawei has Honor and OPPO has Realme, and so forth. The Redmi line is a budget-conscious series that has done so well in emerging markets such as India. The manufacturer released the Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro a couple of days ago, and for what they pack, they are an obvious bang for your buck. However, they arrive quite soon considering Xiaomi Kenya only launched the Redmi Note 7 not so long ago. Phone makers have, however, never shied away from flooding the market with many handhelds provided they make them money. Anyway, the Redmi Note 7 is the first of its line to rock a quad primary camera, whereas the Pro model has an industry-first 64 MP sensor.
