TECNO has partnered with Dolby to bring its Atmos sound to its lineup of devices slated for launch this year.
TECNO’s past devices came with stereo sound, especially its midrange and flagship devices and now the company is upping its audio game with this partnership with Dolby.
TECNO’s future devices for this year will sport Dolby Atmos spatial sound to enhance the listening experience of users when consuming multimedia content like movies, music and gaming as well.
The first TECNO device to ship with Dolby Atmos will be the Pova 6 series scheduled for launch at MWC 2024 which is happening in late February.
But the budget Pova 6 series won’t be the last device as TECNO is bringing Dolby Atmos sound to the upcoming camera-centric Camon 30 series and the flagship Phantom series – both the regular candy-bar X lineup and the foldable V series.

We expect the upcoming Camon 30 series, the Phantom X3 series, the Phantom V2 Fold and maybe the Phantom V2 Flip as well.
Sadly the Spark 20 series misses out as it was launched early this year.
At MWC 2024, TECNO is planning to announce the Phantom V2 Fold too beside the Pova 6 Pro 5G and they will come with Dolby Atmos spatial sound.
The Phantom V2 Fold will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ processor paired with 12GB RAM and boot up Android 14 and HiOS 14.
It will have a 6.42″ LTPO AMOLED cover screen, a 7.85″ foldable LTPO AMOLED screen at 2K resolution.
