Telegram has rolled out a major update that expands personalization features and makes creative tools easier to use.
From adding music to your profile to designing custom stickers and setting unique chat themes, the new release gives users more control over how they present themselves and interact on the platform.
Music on Your Profile
With the new update, Telegram users can now add audio files from any chat directly to their profile. Simply tap Add to Profile in the media player or select Save to > Profile.
Once added, the track appears in a slim bar below your profile photo. Each new song builds onto the previous ones, creating a playlist that visitors can listen to when they open your profile.
Stickers Mini App
Stickers have long been part of Telegram’s identity, and the new Stickers Mini App takes things further. Users can now:
- Create stickers and emoji with a built-in editor.
- Manage sticker packs directly within the app.
- Access usage statistics to see which stickers are most popular.
Previously, pack management required the @Stickers bot, but the Mini App centralizes everything in one place, making sticker creation and curation far more accessible.
New Profile Design
Profiles on Android now feature a redesigned layout with smooth scrolling animations, aligning the platform’s look with iOS.
This upgrade comes from a recent design contest and gives profiles a more modern, visually consistent appearance across devices.
Dynamic Chat Wallpapers from Gifts
Telegram has supported custom chat themes since 2021, but this update takes things further. Collectible gifts now unlock dozens of dynamic wallpapers that gift owners can set as unique themes in any private chat.
This means your collectibles can transform your conversations with stylish, animated backgrounds.
More Customization Options
Other additions in the update include
- The ability to choose a default profile tab (Stories, Gifts, or others).
- Options to help friends upgrade their gifts using Stars.
- A new resale value field in the Gift Marketplace showing estimated collectible worth.
