Infinix has made a name for itself in the consumer tech industry with its smartphones and TVs and other gadgets including headphones and earphones.
The tech company is now venturing into laptops with the launch of the Inbook X1.
Inbook X1 ships with a variety of processors including Intel Core i3-1005G1, Core i5-1035G1 and Core i7-1065G7(this version has Intel Iris Plus graphics up to 64EU).
We have either 8GB or 16GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB PCIe SSD.
In terms of design, Inbook X1 has an aluminium sandblasted anodized body.
Inbook X1 has a 14″ FHD screen that bends all the way with the 180-degree hinge.
The bezels around the display are only 4.19mm.
It is 16.3mm thick and weights around 1.5kg. We also ahve a full-size Backlit Chiclet Keyboard.
Infinix Inbook X1 has DTS audio processing, Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 6.
For ports we have, one USB-C port, 2 USB 3.0 ports and one USB 2.0 port, one HDMI port, One SD card slot, and 3.5mm headphone and microphone jack.
There’s a 720P webcam.
Keeping the lights on is a 55Wh battery that supports 65W(USB-C) PD3.0 AC adapter. Infinix adds that the Inbook X1 will give consumers 11 hours of screen time.
Its worth noting that the charger which juices up the laptop to 70% in one hour can be used to power up Infinix smartphones.
Inbook X1 supports In-Sync, a feature that lets users synchronize files between laptops, TVs, and smartphones.
In terms of colours, Inbook X1 comes in Noble Red, Elves Green, Starfall Grey and Elegant Black. Infinix says that they draw the inspiration from the night sky of Trysil on the Norwegian border. These iconic colors pay homage to the natural beauty of Norway’s landscape.
Pricing and Availability
The Inbook X1 will be available starting next month in Egypt, Indonesia, and Nigeria with a starting price of $530.
