These Two Midrange Samsung Phones Come with Android 10 out of the Box

When it comes to updates, Samsung has been known to take their sweet time. With Android 10 out, the South Korean tech giant is slowly rolling out Google’s latest mobile operating system to its slew of devices. However, the company has been quite swift delivering monthly security updates to its phones especially its flagship devices.

Apart from the recently released OnePlus 7T, OnePlus 7T Pro and the Pixel 4 series that ship with Android 10 already baked in, no other major smartphone manufacturer has launched any new devices with Android 10.

If you had any hopes of getting Android 10, you either have to buy older devices slated to get Android 10 Update from their respective manufacturers or wait till next year where we expect they(smartphone manufacturers) will adhere to Google’s push that will require them to launch new devices with Android 10 already baked in after January 31, 2020 – a move with the aim to increase the uptake of Android 10 and will force manufacturers to ship Android 10 to their entry-level and mid-range devices that usually launch with an older Android version.

On its timeline, Samsung listed when and which devices are getting Android 10 Update but most of the devices are scheduled for next year. Well, you now don’t have to wait.

.

Samsung has already launched the Samsung Galaxy A51 and Samsung Galaxy A71 that come with Android 10 already baked in – no need to wait for the Android 10 Update.

It’s commendable that these two devices launch with Android 10 before Samsung’s 2020 flagship device – the Samsung Galaxy S11 series. Worth noting is that Samsung is reportedly debating merging the Galaxy S series and Galaxy Note series. This could come to effect as soon as next year with possibly a new brand of series reportedly called Galaxy One and launch with the S11 that will ship with best of both worlds and include the S Pen.

The Samsung Galaxy A51 spots four L-shaped rear cameras and Infinity-O display( 6.5″ Super AMOLED panel) similar to the one that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 has, Android 10 and One UI 2.0 out of the box.

SAMMOBILE reports that the Samsung Galaxy A51 will launch in Vietnam and India in December 27th

Samsung Galaxy A51 will follow in the footsteps of its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy A50 which has been loved by plenty of people worldwide.

Samsung Galaxy A71

The Samsung Galaxy A71 was unveiled in Vietnam and also comes with the centred punch-hole camera and an Infinity-O display plus an L-shaped rear camera setup similar to the Samsung Galaxy A51.

Here’s how the two compare:
